1 1/2 oz. Rain Organics Lavender Lemonade Vodka
1 oz. Basil Mint Simple Syrup, recipe follows
1/2 Slice of Lime
8 Springs of Mint
Ice
Fresh Lemon Mix. recipe follows, or Sour Mix

Basil Mint Simple Syrup

1 cup Water
1 cup Sugar
1/8 cup Fresh Basil
1/8 cup Fresh Mint

Fresh Lemon Mix

6 cups Water
2 cups Sugar
4 cups Lemon Juice, fresh or bottled

For Basil Mint Simple Syrup: Combine water, sugar, basil and mint into a saucepan and bring to a boil for one minute. Remove from heat and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain out basil and mint using cheesecloth or an extra-fine strainer. Fresh Lemon Mix: Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over high heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Add to lemon juice and stir. In a pint glass, muddle lime, fresh mint and basil mint simple syrup. Add Rain Organics Lavender Lemonade Vodka. Fill glass with ice and top with equal parts sour mix and soda water. Shake and pour back into pint glass.
